Staff for training to Granada:
This activity supports the professional development of teaching and non-teaching staff in the form of training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing/observation periods/training at a partner institution.
Staff for training scholarships can be implemented by administrative or teaching staff in Departments or Units of UGR, in case candidates are in contact with their colleagues from UGR and can have a work plan, or by participating in the Staff Training Week.
The University of Granada will celebrate the 11th Staff Training Week in May 2018 (7-11 May, 2018). This event’s purpose is to organize meetings among partners and sharing experiences in person. The draft programme can be found here:http://internacional.ugr.es/pages/perfiles/pas/staff-training-week/stw2018may/draftprogrammestw711may2018
Application Period: until 11 March 2018. We kindly ask you to inform your selected candidates and kindly ask them to apply before the deadline. Moreover, in case you have not done so yet, please send the nominations for the staff to attend STW before this date, too.
- To apply, the candidates must go to https://oficinavirtual.ugr.es/ai/, click on Acceder como invitado, go to the second page and choose Solicitud PAS/PDI - IN / Apply for UGR
In the case of staff belonging to International Relations Offices, who will not be accepted in the May 2018 STW because of lack of vacant spaces, another STW may be organised in July 2018. This will depend on the number of requests received for the May STW, as well as on the number of nominations received after the deadline. Please note that the July STW will be focused mainly on Erasmus International Credit Mobility (KA107).
This activity allows the partner university’s teaching staff to teach at the UGR and vice versa and it may be in any subject area/academic discipline (it is advisable that staff provide an invitation letter from a Department at UGR). In case applicants are not in contact with their colleagues at UGR who would provide them with a pre-acceptance letter, they can contact our International Welcome Centre, so that our colleagues try to help them to get a pre-acceptance confirmation.
The duration of individual mobility is 5 working days, plus 2 additional days for travel.
