L’université de Tlemcen, en collaboration avec le Laboratoire de Productique (MELT) organise un séminaire de formation sur la manière de rédiger un article pour être publié dans des grandes revues.

Ce séminaire sera animé par le Professeur Jatinder (Jeet) N. D. Gupta de l’université d’Alabama à Huntville, USA.

Le professeur Jatinder (Jeet) N. D. Gupta est un éminent professeur et chercheur dans le domaine du génie industriel et du management de l’ingénierie (498publications, 13855 citations, h-index : 59, i10-index : 202)

Le séminaire est ouvert à tous les domaines de la recherche, la formation est en anglais, le candidat devra réaliser des travaux (homework) avant pendant et après le séminaire.

La candidature est ouverte aux enseignants chercheurs ainsi qu’aux doctorants.

Le séminaire se déroulera au centre de téléenseignement tous les jours du 23 au 27 septembre 2018. Le professeur Jatinder (Jeet) N. D. Gupta sera présent à Tlemcen du 22 au 28 septembre 2018

 Brief Description

This seminar course will explore appropriate ways to conduct and publish research, especially as it relates to the thesis work towards a Master’s or a PhD degree and young faculty members who wish to jump start their research career.  Starting with the selection of a research topic, we will develop participant’s ability to identify an appropriate research topic, develop a research proposal, conduct a literature review, and move through the actual research process to publish research findings.  In this seminar course, participants will present their research topics, proposals and findings with a view to seek feedback to improve their proposals and to identify suitable approaches for doing and publish their research in high quality journals.  The expected outcomes of this seminar course are a better comprehension of the process of conducting research and participants’ ability to make significant contributions to enhance the body of knowledge in their selected research topics.

NOTE: This seminar discusses some useful steps first designed to encourage advanced graduate students and faculty to start discussing ways to enhance the publication of their research in high quality journals.  It is NOT designed to signify that the presenter knows more than its participants do.  Its purpose is to start a dialog on doing and publishing research.  It is an interactive and discussion forum for all of us to learn and advance our abilities to do research and publish in high quality journals.  It also requires homework before, during, and after the course.  Therefore, an active participation is encouraged and will be highly appreciated.
