University of Tlemcen's Rector, Pr. MEGHACHOU Mourad, attended the Scopus Awards ceremony on December 1, 2022, which was hosted by the Dutch company Elsevier and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's Directorate-General for Scientific Research and Technological Development. The winners were ranked in relation to their index quantified scientific productivity and the impact of a scientist based on the level of citation of his publications in peer-reviewed journals.  Two researchers from Tlemcen University were honored after winning the Science Award "SCOPUS AWARDS" , according to the indexed database of Scopus scientific journals, it is the teacher Benhabib Abdelrazak and the doctoral student Benflouh Redouane
