The research team of the didactic of the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers PRFU and the Linguistic Ecology and Ethnolinguistic Vitality of Minority Varieties in Western Algeria, in collaboration with the Security, organized a symposium on "the student asks questions, security responds" in the conference room of the Faculty of Letters and Languages. under the direction of teachers Nassima Saidi and Farid Daoudi.
The symposium was held in the presence of Pr. Mohamed Meliani, the Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages, Pr. Nabil Balaha, the Head of the Communication and Public Relations Unit of Tlemcen Security, Pr. AbdelRahim Qalfat, the Director of CERIST, Pr. Omar Azouq, the Symposium Director, as well as students and educators. Also present were Mr. Fathallah Lafakih, the police commissioner, and Mr. Bilal Maarouf, the sheriff.
The symposium addressed several themes:
The concept and function of the police.
The role of the police in reducing social evils
Security seen as everyone’s responsibility.
This symposium aims to create a friendly environment between national security and the university student, to deepen the bond between the police and the members of society, in order to ensure security and to fight against social evils, and disseminate and deploy awareness programs in the media.
