The University of Tlemcen held a ceremony to mark the departure of employees who were allowed to exercise their right to retirement on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Zianide hotel as part of the observance of May 1, International Workers' Day. The Rector, Pr MEGHACHOU Mourad, presided over the ceremony, which was also attended by the Vice Rector, the Secretary General, the deans of the faculties, the social partners, and all of the Tlemcen University staff.

The Rector emphasized the caliber of these retirees' careers on this occasion, recalling their lengthy careers and their contributions to the influence of the University.
