The Rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. Meghiachou Mourad, congratulated the young students from several Algerian universities on their victory in the Huawei ICT competition, especially the two students Charak Mohammed Mourtada and Addad Fatheddine.

The Algerian teams, composed of students from different universities and colleges, won the first prize in the international Huawei ICT competition.

The 15 Algerian students from five teams among more than 400 participants from 74 countries competed for three days in the final competition held from May 23 to 26 in China. This is a global competition based on Huawei technologies to promote the development of the ICT sector among young students, especially since Huawei is a global provider of ICT.

Note that the students who qualified for the final tournament took the first places in Africa after winning the top 5 out of 28 countries and 50 teams.
