As part of the Himaya Innov'days 2024 Innovation Days, CERIST (Scientific and Technical Information Research Center), in collaboration with the Algerian Civil Protection, Yahia Fares University of Medea, and the DGRSDT (General Directorate of Scientific Research and Technological Development), is organizing a hackathon that will take place from March 4 to 6, 2024, and which has as its main objectives:

• Stimulate innovation by bringing together creative minds to solve complex problems related to disaster management.
• Foster interdisciplinary and transversal collaboration to design innovative solutions adapted to emergency situations.
• Develop functional prototypes and practical and operational ideas to meet the specific challenges inherent in disaster management.
• To create an environment conducive to learning, experimentation, and the development of concrete and functional solutions dedicated to the management of disaster situations.
• Encourage entrepreneurship, advance ideas, and support initiatives that have a positive impact on society in the field of civil protection.
