Some 40 teachers and researchers representing different academic institutions in the country took part this Friday, March 8, 2024, in the national symposium on the implications of the COVID-19 pandemic on the situation of women in the Arab region and rehabilitation for sustainable development 2030, organized by the Strategic Studies and Policy Research Laboratory under the chairmanship of Dr. Berahou Sihame, Chair of the Policy Analysis Research Team, on the occasion of Women’s Day.
This scientific event is a day of study with the objective of the theoretical authentication of women’s thought and the challenges of the political and economic empowerment of Arab women and cultural paradoxes, especially during the COVID-19 crisis.
