In an atmosphere filled with joy and happiness and in a manner overflowing with kindness and noble feelings, the Faculty of Economics, Commercial Sciences, and Management celebrated, on Thursday, December 19, 2024, the 50th anniversary of the founding of the University of Tlemcen. The celebration was honored by the presence of the rector of the University of Tlemcen, Prof. MEGHACHOU Mourad, as well as the deans of the faculties and the staff of the faculty.

The event was marked by the presentation of an exceptional documentary that traced the history of the faculty since its creation. This documentary, widely praised for being the first of its kind at the university, stood out for its high level of professionalism and remarkable accuracy in presenting the historical milestones of the faculty. With its elegant style and captivating narration, the documentary succeeded in highlighting the moments of success and development, emphasizing the efforts of the men and women who have contributed to the greatness of the faculty over the decades. It thus paid tribute to the scientific and cultural legacy proudly carried by the faculty.

The day was also marked by a special recognition ceremony in honor of the former Deans of the faculty, as a sign of gratitude for their valuable contributions and dedication in fulfilling their noble duties, in a solemn atmosphere that reflected the spirit of loyalty and appreciation. Moreover, emphasis was placed on the role of social partners and students carrying projects within the framework of Decision 1275, who demonstrated creativity in presenting remarkable contributions.

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Ben Ledgham Fethi, played a central role in the success of this event, bringing his wisdom and expertise to highlight the values and mission of the university. Furthermore, the students, represented by the scientific clubs ULP and EVOS, demonstrated great enthusiasm and ambition, emphasizing, through their dedication and creativity, the importance of teamwork in the success of this historic event.
