As part of improving student awareness of the various aspects of national service, Tlemcen University, in collaboration with the military sector of Tlemcen, organized the first informational day on national service on Tuesday, February 4, 2025, at the 19 May Hall of the Imam Bouhanak Campus.

The event attracted a large number of students, with the presence of Professor Ben Bekhti Abdelhakim, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Science, as well as Officer DJALAL Ibrahim. This meeting provided an important opportunity to offer detailed explanations on the various aspects of national service, addressing key topics for students who are about to enter this phase.

The discussions focused on the issue of exemptions from national service, specifying the cases and conditions under which a student can benefit from this measure, as well as the procedures for deferring national service and the necessary administrative documents to benefit from it. Additionally, solutions were proposed to regularize the situations of those who were unable to complete their service within the designated time frame.

As part of the continuation of this awareness campaign, another meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at the Lakhdar Ben Khadda Conference Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, where further explanations will be provided and students' questions will be answere
