Pr. Amine Abdelmalek, Rector of Oran 1 University, President of the Board of Directors of Tlemcen University, and representative of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, supervised the work of the University’s directorate council  on Monday, February 10, 2025, at the auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine in downtown Tlemcen, in the presence of the Rector of Tlemcen University, Pr. Mourad Meghachou.

The goal of this meeting was the creation of an institution named the "University Business Accelerator", aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial environment and innovation within the university to contribute to the creation of new job opportunities and stimulate the local economy.
