The CEDIMES Awards of Excellence reward each year, since 2008, the work of young researchers written in French or in English. Eligible candidates are mainly young economists or managers whose work focuses on "development processes in the world", embracing macroeconomic, microeconomic, entrepreneurial, financial, sociological environmental, political and communication approaches.

The CEDIMES Awards are divided into two categories:

• A PhD Award for theses defended
• A Master Prize for mémoires defended
