On Thursday, September 28, 2017, the auditorium in the city center pole hosted a major graduation ceremony for graduate students of the Pan-African Institute PAUWES. About fifty young students from thirty countries of the African continent received the Master's degree in the presence of the Wali of the wilaya of Tlemcen, the executives of the University of Tlemcen and the Pauwes, the Commissioner of the African Commission and many ambassadors and diplomats from African and European countries.

The Pan-African Institute, which harbors the Abu Bakr Belkaid University, is an example of success in international training, symbolizing openness to the world, mainly on the African continent.
