Mustapha DJAAFOUR prize

The third edition of the Mustapha DJAAFOUR prize, organized by the University of Tlemcen in coordination with the Mustapha DJAAFOUR Association to encourage scientific competition, closed this Monday, October 23, 2023. What is new in this edition is to organize them at the University of Ahmed Daraia of Adrar, under the patronage of Mr. Wali of the Wilaya of Adrar.
This competition for the best doctoral thesis in various fields combined from the University of Adrar and Tlemcen in a new edition is dedicated to a tradition that has become a custom that candidates expect every year.
For the University of Tlemcen, applications that have defended their doctoral theses between October 23, 2022, and July 15, 2023, inclusive, Out of 40 candidates from 8 faculties, one was accepted for each faculty, and by Adrar University, the same conditions and rules were adopted with the exception of the obligation to discuss the doctoral thesis in 2022-2023.
Indeed, it is estimated that 8 candidates from the University of Tlemcen and 7 from the University of Adrar have registered who have benefited from training to present their research projects within 180 seconds. In the presence of the wali of the wilya of Adrar and the university family of the University of Tlemcen and Adrar,  the prize of this edition was awarded to Dr. Khadija Hamoudi of the Faculty of Letters and Languages-University of Tlemcen, the second prize was awarded to Dr. Khadija Khali of the University of Adrar, and the third was awarded to Dr. Ibrahim Kromba of the Faculty of Technology-University of Tlemcen. Congratulations to the winners and congratulations to us for these researchers.
It should be noted that this edition saw the adoption of a laureate based on the choice of the public through a digital ballot, and the result of the ballot was announced by choosing Dr. Aisha Boualala from Adrar University.
The Mustapha DJJAFOUR Prize is an important event to honor science and promote scientific research in Algeria because science is a force that pushes human beings to excel and progress, and scientific research plays an essential role in the development of knowledge and the advancement of development.
