Mobile Learning Week 2019: Call for proposals open

UNESCO is pleased to announce that proposal submissions for Mobile Learning Week (https://en.unesco.org/mlw) are now open. MLW 2019 will be held at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris from 4 to 8 March 2019.
To submit a proposal to present at the event, please click on the appropriate link below. Proposals are due Friday, 11 January 2019 and should relate to the overaching theme: 'Augmented human intelligence and humanity' and to one of the following subthemes:
Subthemes

  1. Ensuring inclusive and equitable use of AI in education
  2. Leveraging AI to enhance education and learning
  3. Promoting skills development for jobs and life in the AI era
  4. Safeguarding transparent and auditable use of education data

Symposium proposal (https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/4571934/MLW-2019-Symposium-Presentation-Proposal-Form-EN )
The Symposium will form the core of Mobile Learning Week and will feature opening and closing remarks from UNESCO and other partner organizations, keynote speeches, high‐level plenary addresses, and numerous breakout sessions. Each Symposium presentation will last approximately 20 minutes.

The Workshops will facilitate demonstrations of innovative policies, research, projects, and solutions that use Artificial Intelligence tools and frontier technologies for education and learning. Each workshop will last 1 hour and 30 minutes.
