The University of Tlemcen has been awarded the recognition seal as an active data provider for the year 2025 by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) through the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology (AGRIS). This distinction acknowledges its active role in disseminating scientific information and promoting open access to knowledge in the fields of agriculture and food.

 

AGRIS is an international platform aimed at expanding access to scientific research and increasing its reach in areas related to the Organization's work. The participation of Abou Bekr Belkaid University of Tlemcen in this system helps enhance the visibility of its scientific and technical production at regional and international levels, thereby strengthening Algeria’s position within the global AGRIS network
