On the occasion of national day of knowledge, celebrated on 16 April of each year and established in homage to the famous scientist Abdelhamid Ibn Badis,  to the  knowledge and social scientists, the Rector of the University Pr.MEGNOUNIF Abdellatif , has supervised on Sunday 11April 2021 the launch of the celebration of Knowledge Day at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, Earth and Universe Sciences.

This festivity started since April 11, 2021 that will last through various activities, marked by the presence of the Wali of the Wilaya of Tlemcen and its accompanying delegation, accompanied by Mr:Nazih Ben Ramadan Presidential Adviser in charge of the Associative and Community Movement abroad , where they visited several exhibitions in form innovative projects presented by student associations from different Faculties of the University of Tlemcen and scientific and cultural clubs as well as social works, who emphasized the importance of student engagement in the development and renaissance project from the university’s relationship with the economic and social environment and the student’s role in formulation and elaboration.

After the solemn opening of the event, the Rector of the University and the Wali of the Wilaya of Tlemcen, addressed a speech followed by a conference on the same occasion, and a number of students were also honoured.
