The united state of America embassy in Algeria, launched an online writing training for students and teachers of   Ecoles Normales Supérieur  (ENS) and English language department

This training takes place at the participant’s pace, and may be completed at any time, until August 02, 2021

The course entitled 'International Establishment of Academic Writing Centers in Higher Education' is taught by the State University of Iowa, sponsored by the US Department of State, It will allow participants to discover the mission and purpose of academic writing centers in higher education institutions.

Participants will be introduced to the methods of creating and managing  a writing center, in the context of teaching English as Foreign Language (EFL).

They will also explore different funding models for a writing centre, best practices for recruiting and training staff, rules and procedures used to promote writing centre services.
