Prof.Abdelbaki Benziane, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, paid a working visit to the wilaya of Tlemcen on Monday, March 28, 2022.

The Minister began his visit to the university of Tlemcen Abou Bekr Belkaid, accompanied by the wali of Tlemcen Mr.Amoumene Mermouri and the Rector of the University of Tlemcen Pr.Meghachou Mourad, at the center of medical simulation of the faculty of medicine of Tlemcen, where he followed explanations of this academic work as well as various publications and books of teachers Experts in this field.

Following that, Mr. The Minister paid an inspection visit to the new university pole 4000 pedagogical places (2,000 teaching places for the faculty of medicine, 2,000 pedagogical  places for graduate schools, dental clinics, and 500-bed university residences), where he was welcomed by debutantes and deans of faculties, university teachers, trade union representatives, and student organizations.

The ministerial delegation then proceeded to the Mansourah pole, where Mr.Minister inaugurated the university residence «Benahmed Abdelkadir» with a capacity of 2000 beds in the commune of Mansourah, as well as the new university derectorate and listened to the Rector's explanations about the new Rectorate.

At the level of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences The Minister met with members of the university community at the level of the auditorium where the Rector of the university welcomed the ministerial delegation, followed by an introduction on the university includes different fields and paths, as well as Mr.le wali was also thanked to the Minister and the Rector for the various achievements and efforts made.

During his speech Minister Abdelbaki Benziane affirmed the need to be the Algerian University an active social partner in the field of national and local development taking into account time factors and space for Algerian universities. The Minister then honoured Prof.Houmat Abderrahim , Prof.Bentaifor Nasreddine, PhD student Recabe Amina , the student majors of their promotion Mr. Dahou Mourad and Mr.Wali Abdessalam as well as the maintenance agent Mr.Timifiski Choukri on his efforts at work. His excellence noted with potential technical and academic satisfaction, he urged the entire academic community to put more effort and work into it.
