Organized by the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences and  

forests, In homage to Pr. Noureddine Letreuch-Belarouci and the deceased 

earth and the universe  Sciences, in collaboration with the national research institute 

Pr.Mohamed Berrichi and Dr.Fodil Khalid, at the level of the auditorium of the faculty 

SNV-STU. 

This national seminar is part of the official launch of the Decade 

(2021-2030) of the United Nations for the restoration of ecosystems proclaimed by 

the General Assembly of the United Nations on the occasion of the 

World Environment Day. 

It aims to make stock of the current state of research and projects in 

restoration, rehabilitation and recovery of ecosystems 

forests and to identify the real constraints faced in the field. 

It will therefore provide a baseline on scientific capabilities 

at the national level that will assist identify strengths, gaps, needs and obstracles to implementing forest restoration.
