The Institute of Applied Sciences and Techniques of the University of Tlemcen organized, this Thursday, December 14, 2023, the first edition of the "Entrepreneurship Day" in the presence of the Rector of the University Pr.MEGHACHOU Mourad, the vice-rector of post-graduation and scientific researchpr.BACHIR Redouane, the director of the Institute Pr.MAROQUE Abbas, the director of the Graduate School of Business Administration Pr. Tariq Saidi, Prof. Mourad Naôme director of the Maghnia University Center as well as the director of the Student Center Pr. ZakariaSari Hasson, the deans of the faculties, teachers, students, and the representatives of the economic and social partners.
During his welcome speech, the Director of the Institute, Pr. Abbas Morocco, stressed the importance of entrepreneurship in the development of the national economy and the creation of jobs for young people.
For his part, Mr. the Rector of Meghachou Mourad University, stressed in his speech the role of the university in supporting entrepreneurship, indicating the need to encourage students to create startups and micro-enterprises.

The Pr. Sari Hassoun Zakaria, director of the Student Center, presented an intervention on entrepreneurship essentials, addressing the most important steps that young people should take to create a successful project.
The meeting was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with a number of companies to guarantee internships to students of the Institute. The meeting also included a discussion on the process of creating startups and micro-enterprises for students, with the participation of representatives of economic and social partners.
This Meeting aims to highlight the importance of entrepreneurship in the development of the national economy and to offer job opportunities to young people and to raise students' awareness of the importance of entrepreneurship and how to create startups and micro-enterprises, as well as the exchange of experiences between students and economic and social institutions.
