The University of Tlemcen hosted the activities of the fifth International Symposium on Advanced Mechanical Technologies on April 29th and 30th, 2024. The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Technology at the National School of City Engineers in Chetouane.

This seminar benefited from the broad participation of researchers, with 170 researchers from 11 foreign universities and various Algerian universities. This reflects the commitment of the University of Tlemcen to enhance international cooperation in scientific research and the development of advanced mechanical technologies.

Participants presented 170 research papers, including 105 oral presentations and 65 scientific posters, covering various fields of mechanical engineering.

Pr. Mohamed Amine Cheikh, the Dean of the Faculty of Technology, emphasized the importance of this symposium as an ideal platform for the exchange of experiences and knowledge among researchers in the field of mechanical engineering, across all its specialties. He also noted that the symposium aims to open new avenues for scientific partnership between the University of Tlemcen and leading research institutions worldwide.
