National Symposium entitled Visual Impairment in the Arab World: Challenges and Reality
The Laboratory for Arabic Language Processing, chaired by Dr. Salima DIALI, in coordination with the Amel Association, chaired by Dr. Anouar Benchouk, organized a national symposium entitled Visual Impairment in the Arab World: Challenges and Reality.
This event was attended by the former director of the Laboratory for Arabic Language Processing, Prof. Sidi Mohammed GHITRI, and the director of the research unit, Prof. Abderrahane KHARBOUCHE, as well as the director of social activities represented by teacher Mofida BELABED.
The president of the National Blind System delivered a lecture on the National Blind System, which has been in existence for sixty years.
The participating teacher-researchers at the symposium emphasized an active category in society: the category of blind individuals. They addressed various aspects, from diagnosis and rehabilitation to the promotion of legal protection, as well as the social empowerment and psychological aspects of blind individuals.
