The Laboratory of Literary, Critical, and Media Studies in the Arab Maghreb (from its foundation until the end of the 20th century) organized a national colloquium titled "The Semantic Dimensions of Algerian Anachids" under the presidency of Prof. Abassia Bensaid.
The colloquium addressed five main axes. The first axis dealt with the historical dimension of Algerian anachids, while the second axis focused on the revolutionary dimension and its representations in national anthems. The third axis emphasized the manifestations of the artistic characteristics of the national anthem, while the fourth axis addressed the educational and pedagogical dimensions of Algerian anachids. Finally, the fifth axis examined Algerian chants and audiovisual and plastic arts.
This colloquium represents an important opportunity for researchers and those interested in the meanings of the Algerian anthem, while also contributing to highlighting the importance of Algerian anachids as a tool for expression and reinforcement of national identity.
