Nouveau programme d’échange scientifique du département Américain d’Agriculture

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is receiving a new scientific exchange programme from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) for the year 2024.
 
This scientific exchange programme (SEP) relies on the latest advancements in priorities, research, and cross-cutting agricultural technologies to train a new generation of agronomists.
 
The SEP programme offers scholars the opportunity to spend up to 12 weeks at a US university, working directly with American scientists in their field. Its goal is to promote the leadership of female researchers in food systems and strengthen the scientific basis for the role of women, including in climate change. Candidates must have a master's or higher degree, be proficient in English, and have at least two years of professional experience. Selection will respect representation in food systems research, focusing on the role of women.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher, have a good command of the English language, and have at least two (2) years of professional experience. The selection of candidates should reflect representation across the spectrum of research on food systems sustainability (social, environmental, and economic pillars) and focus their research on the role and empowerment of women, as well as the needs of women and children, in transforming food systems.

The interviews will be held on June 12, 2024. The training, which is fully funded by the US, This includes international and domestic travel to the United States, visa application fees for invited researchers, health insurance in the United States, accommodation, and daily allowances.
