Under the presidency of Pr. Souhila Ghomari on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the LARMHO Laboratory "Management of Individuals and Organizations," the Faculty of Economics, Commercial and Management Sciences, and the African Institute for Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) organized the 1st Edition of the International Congress on Sustainable Development and Quality of Life titled "Sustainable Development for a Better Quality of Life." The congress, held both online and in person and hosted by the Center for Andalusian Studies, focused on creating effective methods to integrate principles of sustainable development with the requirements for improving quality of life.

Participants included a diverse array of academics, researchers, and national and international experts, aiming to diagnose the current situation and propose sustainable development practices that tangibly enhance quality of life. Through discussions and the exchange of experiences, they sought to formulate practical recommendations and action plans to guide decision-makers and stakeholders towards concrete implementation in real-world scenarios.
