A national symposium on cultural criticism in the Middle East and North Africa, focusing on theory and application, was held at the Faculty of Arts and Languages this Thursday, June 27, 2024. The event was organized by the laboratory of literary and critical studies and its symbols in the Arab Maghreb from its establishment until the end of the 20th century.
The symposium was inaugurated in the presence of professors and researchers from various national universities, including Dr. Badria Sefir, the director of the laboratory, and Dr. Hara Taibi, the president of the symposium. Also in attendance were Professor Ghouti Hadjoui, dean of the Faculty of Arts and Languages; the writer and novelist Dr. Habib Monsi; and Professor Dr. Akake Kada from the University of Sidi Belabes.
The symposium was well-organized and highly successful, featuring workshops with diverse presentations and academic discussions that addressed various issues, thereby achieving the intended objectives.
