Last year, the African BioGenome Open Institute (AfricaBP) organized 28 regional workshops in 11 African countries that trained 408 African scientists in genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, sample collections, and ELSI. These regional workshops are now published in Nature Genetics.
The University of Tlemcen, via the Applied Genetics Laboratory in Agriculture, Ecology, and Public Health (GenApAgiE), participated in three workshops on molecular biology (animal, plant, and microorganism) trainings for 36 researchers. This commitment allowed for the inclusion of seven researchers from the aforementioned laboratory as co-authors at the article level.
