The Doctoral Week at the University of Tlemcen

The Faculty of Law and Political Science at the University of Tlemcen hosted the Doctoral Week on November 5 and 6, 2024, with active participation from both faculty members and students. The inaugural session was led by Professor LAZHARI Bouzid, a member of the Cultural, Social, and Economic Committee of the Social and Economic Council of the UN, and Professor Saïd MOKADEM, President of the Shura Council of the Arab Maghreb Union. The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Higher Education of both undergraduate and postgraduate cycles, continuous education, and graduate degrees, Professor BENSAIM Bounouar; Professor BACHIR Redouane, Vice-Rector for Third-Cycle Higher Education, University Accreditation, and Scientific Research; as well as doctoral students.

The first session, which lasted until 7 PM, focused on evaluating the presentations of doctoral candidates by the training committees from the Departments of Law and Political Science, followed by lectures for undergraduate and master’s students. On the second day, the closing session was led by Professor Saïdi Mohamed, Head of the Pedagogical Training Commission for University Teachers at Tlemcen University, Professor Chouar Djilali, former President of the Professional Ethics Council, and Professor Bouzid Aouicha. The event concluded with the awarding of certificates to faculty members and students who actively participated in the activities.
