The POLDEVA Laboratory of the Faculty of Economic Sciences organised a national conference titled "Energy Consumption, Environmental Pollution, and Economic Growth" on Thursday, December 12, 2024, chaired by Dr. Ben Mammar Abdellbasit.

 

This conference covered key topics:

 

The relationship between energy consumption and economic growth and its environmental impacts,The role of green financing and technological innovation for sustainable development,Policies for the transition to renewable energy and the circular economy

 

The event concluded with key recommendations: strengthening green financing to support sustainable projects, developing technological innovations to improve energy efficiency, and raising awareness about the environment to balance economic growth with environmental protection.

 

The event was attended by 39 national universities and 98 speakers
