On a day that highlights the importance of the Arabic language as a pillar of identity and civilization, the world celebrates the International Day of the Arabic Language, which coincides with December 18th every year. In this context, the Intensive Language Teaching Center, in partnership with the Faculty of Letters and Languages, the Linguistics and Didactics Research Laboratory, the Arabic Language Teaching Team for Non-Native Speakers, and the Verba Nova Club, organized a scientific seminar titled "The Efforts of Algerian Personalities in Promoting and Developing the Arabic Language in the Age of Artificial Intelligence." The seminar was chaired by Professor Nassima Saidi, with the honorary guest Professor Zine Abeddine Ghiteri.

The seminar addressed various aspects of the efforts made by Algerian personalities in advancing the Arabic language, ranging from writers and poets who contributed to enriching Arabic literature to linguists who worked on improving and disseminating the rules of the Arabic language. The role of educational institutions in teaching Arabic and raising awareness of its importance was also emphasized. Given the rapid technological advancements, the need to develop innovative educational programs to make learning Arabic more attractive and effective was also highlighted.
