On the occasion of the National Mother Language Day, the "Island of Angels" nursery, under the supervision of Mrs. Sahli Samah, in collaboration with the Linguistics and Didactics Research Laboratory, chaired by Dr. Saidi Nassiba, organized a scientific conference titled:

"The Arabic Language in the Arms of Childhood" under the slogan: "With my language, I understand the world, and I build the future."

The event was inaugurated by Professor Meghachou Mourad, Rector of the University of Tlemcen, who, in his speech, addressed the importance of teaching languages in general, and particularly the role of the Arabic language in the child's development and in strengthening their identity.

The event was attended by a group of distinguished professors and researchers, including:

• Professor Bensaïm Mourad, Vice-Rector for Pedagogy

• Professor Hadjoui Ghouti, Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Languages

• Members of the Linguistics and Didactics Research Laboratory

One of the key recommendations of the conference emphasized that the mother tongue is an important starting point for children to move towards linguistic and cultural diversity in light of linguistic globalization.
