On the occasion of World Book Day, celebrated on April 23, 2025, the library of the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies organized a cultural event titled "The Importance of Books and the Transformation of Libraries in the Digital Age," under the slogan "Reading for All."
The event brought together a wide audience of students, teachers, and culture enthusiasts. A rich and varied program highlighted the ever-evolving role of libraries in the digital era:
- Intellectual lectures on the importance of reading in both personal and collective development.
-
Open debates on the future of printed books in the face of technological advances.
-
A presentation of the main printed and digital books available in the library.
-
A space for free reading and cultural exchange among students.
This event served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen students' connection with books and encourage them to embrace reading as an essential tool for acquiring knowledge, fostering critical thinking, and opening up to the world.
