As part of its international outreach strategy, Abou Bekr Belkaïd University of Tlemcen had the pleasure of welcoming a high-level delegation from the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, one of the most prestigious institutions in Slovakia and Central Europe. The delegation included the Dean of the Faculty, the Vice-Dean, and the Head of the History Department.

The visit began with an official welcome by Professor Ali Hamza Cherif, Vice-Rector in charge of external relations, and his team. Discussions focused on opportunities for academic collaboration, particularly in the fields of the humanities and history, with special emphasis on student mobility and the development of joint research projects.

The Slovak delegation also visited the i2E Student Center, where they interacted with faculty and students, gaining direct insight into academic life in Tlemcen. The day concluded with an official meeting with the University Rector, Professor Meghachou Mourad, who reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to developing high-level international partnerships with leading European universities.
