As part of the official agenda, the second day of the Comenius University Faculty of Arts delegation’s visit focused on expanding academic collaboration with the Faculty of Human Sciences at the University of Tlemcen.

The Slovak delegation, comprising the Dean, Vice-Dean, and Head of the History Department, engaged in extensive discussions with teachers and researchers from the departments of History, Archaeology, Islamic Studies, Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy. Department heads delivered detailed presentations on potential areas of collaboration, showcasing both student capabilities and faculty expertise in shared fields of interest such as cultural heritage, inter-civilizational dialogue, and modern research methodologies.

An Open Day was also held in honor of the visiting delegation, attended by Prof. Ali Hamza Cherif, Vice-Rector for External Relations, and Prof. Bendaouad, Dean of the Faculty of Human Sciences. The event underscored the strategic commitment of both institutions to fostering robust academic partnerships between Algeria and Slovakia.
