The campus of the new pole, la rocade, lived exceptional moments during the day of October 31st, 2016 a celebration that lasted until the raising of the flag at midnight. An indescribable festive atmosphere reigned in this lively evening animated by the students of all faculties of the UABT who wanted to celebrate properly the 62th anniversary of the Algerian revolution.

Indeed, the University of Tlemcen has experienced for the first time since its existence intense student life and, for a week across all campuses and dorms to celebrate as it should be that date very dear to the Algerian people. Student associations, clubs of Science, Sports and Culture, and all the social partners have cooperated fully to make this event a successful one, presenting activities that everyone has qualified high performance. Competition, innovation and artistic creation were to go to pay homage to our martyrs and mujahideen who fought for Algeria to remain standing. The youth Students were all mobilized like to tell all martyrs that our Algeria is just doing well!

The evening, held on the eve of this important day for all the Algerian people on the esplanade of the faculty of SNV, saw the participation of an impressive crowd of students, sometimes accompanied by their relatives all came to share moments of human warmth and emotionally charged. The national songs presented by students with special needs, the simulation of the trial of Shahid Larbi Bnem'hidi and different shows very representative of the event of 1 November 1954 have touched the audience, made up of hundreds of students, executives of the university and the civil and military authorities.

The head of the institution, Prof. Mustapha Djafour, visibly emotional by the quality of performances provided by the students, thanked all those who participated, from near or far, to the realization of this spectacular artistic fresco, thought and directed by the students themselves. Bravos dear students, Algeria is proud of you!
