The University of Tlemcen organized a scientific and cultural activities at conference room of Abou Elkacem Saâd Allah,in occasion of the celebration of national day of Chahid corresponding to 18 February each year; it is also one of historical days , symbols the faithfulness of the thousand of Algerians who sacrificed their life for the liberty and independence of Algeria. In presence of the leaders of Tlemcen University, the Deans of the Faculties, teachers and students.

The ceremony was marked by the reading of the fatiha of the Holy Quran as a sign of recollection, seizing this occasion of commemoration, Vice –Rector of External Relations, Cooperation, Animation and Communication and Scientific Events Pr.Ali HAMZA CHERIF has wished to remind the sacrifices of our martyrs who sacrificed their life for the liberty and independence of Algeria, he was also focused on the responsibility of the researchers and teachers in the historical research and the transmission of values and ideals to young students. Followed by two interventions of Dr. BENDOUED Nacereddine teacher of the history and the Dean of Human and Social Science, teacher BENACER of historical department.

Indeed, the Dean of Human and Social Science sized this occasion to honor the staffs who have worked in service delivery and better management of the Faculty during the pandemic of Covid-19 ; educational achievement; the studies, scientific and cultural activity.
