On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, Tlemcen University welcomed Professor Waldemar Surosz, Dean of the Faculty of Oceanography and Geography at the University of Gdańsk, and Professor Hanna Jurata Mazur-Marzec, Head of the Department of Marine Sciences and Biotechnology, for a visit to Tlemcen University. The visit took place at the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, as well as Earth and Universe Sciences.

Within the framework of the international scientific cooperation program between Tlemcen University and the University of Gdańsk in Poland, areas of scientific cooperation in the field of marine sciences and biotechnology were discussed during the working session.

We extend our thanks to Professor Ali Hamza Cherif, Vice-Rector of the University in charge of external relations, as well as Mr. Bahlada Omar and all the staff of the Vice-Rectorate for External Relations for providing all the necessary facilities for the success of this international scientific visit.

The activities of this international cooperation continue with scientific conferences scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, starting at 9:00 AM, in the auditorium of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, as well as Earth and Universe Sciences.
